Martí holds an MSc in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Industrial Ecology and a BSc in Environmental Sciences from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He obtained his PhD from ICTA-UAB with the thesis “A Circular Economy Approach to Urban Agriculture: an Environmental Assessment”. During his doctoral period he was also affiliated with the Engineering School of the UAB, where he did part of the research and participated as a lecturer in different subjects, as well as with the supervision of different Master Thesis. A big part of his research was related to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), approaching urban metabolism both in building and city scales. Now he works as an Environmental LCA Specialist at 2.-0 LCA Consultants, a Danish consultancy firm helping companies all over the world quantify their environmental footprint.
