Erin holds an MSc in Industrial and Urban Ecology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a BSc in Civil Engineering and a BSc Environmental Science from the University of Manitoba (Canada). Research explores nutrient and carbon cycling in urban and peri-urban agriculture, from rooftop greenhouse CO₂ enrichment to the use of municipal organic waste for soil regeneration. Approaches combine Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), hydroponic experimental design, and participatory methods such as stakeholder workshops to advance circular and resilient food systems within the built environment.
