David holds a MSc in Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability with a specialization in Industrial and Urban Ecology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). His doctoral thesis is focused on the development of a multi-criteria decision framework for Nature-Based Solutions. His work considers social vulnerabilities, environmental burdens and ecosystem services by employing both qualitative and quantitative methods.

David’s research motivation is to make cities more sustainable and inclusive. His previous works has centered on green infrastructure, ecosystem services and environmental justice within urban settlements.
